BASS SPINNING RYDE

Hi, im planning on wading out of ryde beach this weekend and bass spinning for the first time. Does anyone know if bass are common in that area???? thanks

yea spin with a eddy eel 70mm and no need to wade out they are mainly schooly bass i fish Yarmouth pier on the flood for bass or live bait off Egypt point about 10 foot out on the flood ps keep hold of your rod tho B-)

I haven't fished the Ryde sands spinning for bass but if you are not lucky there move to the west and fish from where the rocks begin and work your way round towards Fishbourne. It, like a great deal of the Island coast, is good bass territory. Be patient and you will catch bass. You can also try the other side of the Island at Culver Cliff for instance, low water from the ledges in the summer or autumn are very productive.
