I would be prepared to meet at Preston and would make your weights for 50% of the lead. That way we would both save money

I get my lead from tyre garages, old wheel weights, or car battries

Problem with wheel weights is that they are now making them out of another type of metal with little or no lead content.

i have a lot of trouble getting lead these days it seems that its getting rather scarce now apart from in the big cities were there is lots of old property being demolished, my plumber friend rarely comes across it anymore. pity i used to make a lot of leads. hospital radio therapy units usually have tons of it but they are so bound by regulation they only dispose of it to licensed dealers

With the back door and kitchen window open all you need is a milkpan on the gas cooker, spoon for sludge, and mould and clamp on the draining board

Break the mould and drop the new weight into the sink of water

Extractor fan on....sorted

Make the weights you need then clean up and add the wires etc

You lot under the thumb or what :D :D :D

Do a doz a session

pete ;)
