For those of you who use a running ledger combined with a 2 hook flapper.
If you are catching flatties all the time then use the rig upside down so that the 2 hooks are on the bottom. It will help increase your catch and you still have 1 hook available for those mid range species such as whiting, codling etc.

afyer talking to you on the phone the other day i have made a couple of these rigs up but is there any chance of a diagram or photo of one so as to check there right. it might help those new to the rig making as well

Keith, I don't know how to say this, but have you considered that fishing in your back garden from your washing line may not be the most successful approach?
Perhaps like me you should try fishing up an oak tree. The slight drawback with this method is some abrasion to the leader.
