i recently bought some "winter grade peeler oil" which i'll be trying out over the next couple of weeks so i'll try let you know if I have any results. don't have the tub here in front of me but if memory serves me it's "baitbox"

ive used the same oil before,and for me it didnt improve anything,but then again nor would a five pound note and a wet fish stall lol

I wouldn't think cod liver oil would work because its refined.

I have a concoction that has worked quite well in the past and consists of lugworm, mackerel, fish guts,and herring extract.

might give pilchard oil a bash though.
