was just wondering canthe rag worm still bite ya one the hook az been put though the head ? lol az i hate the thingz ? iz there any easier way ?

Lol you big girlie :(( , they dont bite , they nip .....and yes they will be even more ferocious monsters once a hook has been rammed down there throat :D

Count yourself lucky, the biggest ragworm I ever saw was from Arrachar at the top of loch long in scotland. It was just over 4 ft. More like a flaming eel than a worm.

i sopose you could thred it on a bait needle that should keep your fingers safe :D :D

I have no problem with ragworm, I ignore it when they nip me, even the big ones, but 4 foot long! That is some worm! :-O

And to answer kirkhamlfc's question, try using a baiting needle like slipperyeel suggested.

four foot worms, can some one let me know where i can get some of these as that is a decent rag, sounds better then the quality i usually get lol

At the World Boat Champs in the Adriatic a couple of years ago, competitors had baits supplied. Each was given a three-foot long king rag. These are harvested by divers, not diggers, and so actually cost more than if they had been dug at home.

ive heard about these extra large rag went fishing last night with some i got the idea of grabbin it hard behind the head seemz safe enough haha
