shock leader taper or plain shock

shock leader taper or plain shock

hi all what do you all think the best taper leader or plain leader.

Its got to be taper, due to a smaller knot to go easily through the rings, also the level wind if you have one.
I know its a bit more expensive and after saying that I don't use it mysel as I purchase all my line in 1/2 and 1 kg spoolls

Always used Greased Weasel plain 50 lb meself with an Albright knot which is quite a tidy affair IMO. Once tried another SL recommended by tackle shop but crap compared with Greased Weasel. OK it's not the cheapest but pretty well lasts forever - I know I have one which is close to two years old.

been using sakuma tapered leaders for a while and had no probs,even with weed .small knot pulls through weed..was always greased weasel man befor.also its more supple than weasel.
