Yes but maybe casting won't be so far - the first two or three rings on FS reel rods are quite wide in order to cope with the coils of line coming off the spool. You don't generally get this feature with multiplier rods.

wen using a f/s rod and f/s reel your eyes are on the bottom of your rod so the line is rubbing on the eyes wen your using a multi reel your eyes are on the top of the rod and if you get a good bend in the rod your line can come in to contact with the rod thats why theres so many eyes on a multi rod to keep the line of your rod

Using a fixed spool reel on a multiplier rod is not recommended due to the fact that with a fixed spool reel the line comes of in large circles and there is every chance of the line wrapping itself arond the bottom eye thus causing either damge to the bottom eye or the line breaking.
Nothing to do with how the rod bends as all rods are designed so as to keep the line clear of the rod weather it be for a multi or F/S even when casting or playing a heavy fish.

I think it depends on the rod. I put a multiplier on a FS rod because there are plenty of rings. But another rod of mine has no rings on the butt section, so the line chafing the rod with a multiplier might happen.

As for the other way round, coasters would be awkward with a FS. Whether coils of line would catch round the butt ring I'm not sure about. Best thing is to try it out and see whether it works okay.

I put the fixed spool on fitted ok with the coaster fitted too but just dont look right,
might just have to keep a lookout for cheapish multiplier
