Trimingham - what's the best mark ?

Post by spiny »

I've not fished Trimingham before and fancied an evening session next week. I gather access is by the "Ingleside?" pub. Can anybody recommend a spot on the beach ?

hi mate
haven't been there for 25 yrs
used to fish towards cromer way from the car park walk about 200 yrds
used to fish 2 before and 2 after , there was a deep gulley about 80 yrd out
beware of the jet skiers there's a club there run by the jetski centre at roughton ( wests) they operate from the ingleside ,

they might be a problem and frighten off the bass

good luck let us know how you get on
cheers steve

ive fished mostly all over that beach over the years,if you go down the ramp and left 4 groins up is good on the high tide but at low water its a bit snaggy rocks i think,i think if the fish are there and luck is on your side you can catch anywhere along that stretch.i always seem to do well using 1 big hook clipped down loaded with mussel. good luck!

Thanks guys that's much appreciated I might split myself across those marks and try them both. I presume it fishes high and on the ebb like that general area. I normally mix and match baits and run one rod deep and the other close in, just to see what happens. Once I'm done I'll post a review on http://www.fishing.thesiliconworkshop.com with photos. Probably get there tomorrow am. Cheers again
