Yarmouth north beach

Post by LUGGY » Sat Nov 10, 2012 6:21 pm

Hi Everyone

In the spirit of keeping people informed the North beach at Yarmouth has been good fun in the form of good Whiting and Dabs. I weighed in just under 5lb on Tuesday in a local friendly 3hr match (1 oz behind the winner). Simple lug and squid baits did the trick and the area has been fairly consistent over last few weeks and the fish seem to geting a little bigger.

I shall report again next week

Well done Luggy mate, thanks for taking the time to report, shame about being runner up but at least the winner was hard pressed . I remember 60 yrs ago when I fished at Caister on sea, the beaches were teaming with flatties and whiting and a blank was never heard of, happy days when you could catch em with a handline.
It seems those days have gone forever, and now you have to work hard for a decent result, By the way I was only 10 then lol
Cheers
