Hi mick,i fished a few times just south of thorpe park, plenty of flatties with the occasional bass, the crab's can be like locus :(( ,but if you need further information ,you are only a few minutes drive from one of the country's top match angler's George Smith,he's got a takle shop not far from the leisure centre (Georges tackle box) if you go north toward's the leisure centre,go over the round a bout turn down the second left "Queen's Parade"follow the road go straight over the roundabout then look for Middlethorpe rd,then turn right the shop is about 50yrd's on the left, well worth a visit,George is a smashin bloke very helpfull, knows the area like the back of his hand..really knows his stuff..hope this help's ...mick. ;)
