oh my cod!! at last

Post by baldness »

fished lowestoft yesterday with andy1i on a spur of the moment whim!

started at 7pm high tide 9.30 ish finished 11pm.

i did my normal superstitious dance and paid neptune 20p and so did andy!
in reward i got a plump 2.5lb codling first cast!! yeee ha first of a long season.beginning to think i was using anti cod bait!!
but also on andys first cast he had one too !! all of 8 inches but a coddy none the less.

as always great company with andy and his radioactive light tips !!
probably cut short dur =e to a boot full of sea water ,just didnt time my cast right to the incomong wave!!

anyway started to get frost bite on foot so packed up!!

a rogue fish maybe but a good sign of things to come.

see u all at orford on 13th

Great result you two - well done.

I sense from looking at all the forums and sites that things are beginning to look up. Most days have reports of cod, albeit small, being caught.

Here's hoping that those cold dark blanking days of this winter are past!

Roll on 13th at Orford! :)
