Went to Markham's in Ipswich to get my squid late this afternoon and Gary told me that some decent cod came off the Island last weekend. Later spoke to another friend who works in the fish trade (restaurants) who told me that some very good, freshly caught 'Orford cod' was being served in some local hostelries.

I'd resigned myself to throwing a lot of lug into the sea with very little return tomorrow, but maybe this gives us a bit of hope!

Look forward to seeing all you folks tomorrow.
