Nes Point, Lowestoft

Post by stinky_wiem »

Had a few hours at Nes Point yesterday, the weather startded off calm and then the wind started to pick up a bit.

Had two rods out, one with a pulley pennel (2/0) and another with a single size 6 hook on a boom near some rocks.

Came away with a 450g Lobster, a 2lb 3oz Bass (both taken on the size 6 hook !) and a Pouting of just over a lb.
Fished with a miture of squid, lug, raw tiger prawn and a few bottles of real ale !.

lol, very snaggy but the fish are there so you just need to adapt.

Andy, not only did I loose a few rigs, I also lost a butler when he drowned after getting his leg stuck in a rock picking up my lobster !
