went to frinton with the hope to catch some cod and they were there,I caught a few kipper and I put most of them back coz my freezer is not big enough :D .

bait was squid and lug but squid was the killer,,there were a plague of whiting too

yes mate they were caught on whole squid,I used lug and rag but only the whiting were taking it.

I used to do a lot of shore fishing but I think kayak es more fun and you get fit too >:) .

Went out from that slip in my prowler trident 13 last saturday with my mate on his teksport something or other........ was quite choppy so only fished for about 30 mins.....he had a thornback of around 8lb. Cant wait to get out again, might try nearer walton pier next trip. B-)
