catch report somerset

Post by east27 »

hi all, myself and east26 thought we would give it another yesterday as the fishing has been a bit poor lately,we were heading south but after a brief chat in the tackle shop changed our minds, instead we headed for the somerset chesil.

we fished from 4ish up untill 9pm,weather was overcast and some rain, but the sea was perfeck, there was a few other anglers there as well, anyway after east26 had lost 5 rigs >:) he was into his first doggie, followed by a pout, then another doggie, then another pout, and that was it.
I think the reason he caught was because he had plenty of scent in the sea from his 5 rigs he lost that were loaded right up :D ,one day here you dont lose any tackle then the next it can eat it within 10 mins, would say the best bait to use here is lug tipped with squid,oh well thats it folks till the next trip tightlines everyone.
