loch fyne is great for mackeral, even better if you spin for them. i used to fish loch fyne between 4 or 5 times during the summer months and loved it. i used to go out on the loch with a boat called the keltic lady the skppers name is kenny, and a really good guy to get on with. good luck with your trip and tight lines

A few mackerel were caught by the rod anglers but do you NOT see what I mean in comparison to the "netters".

As soon as you say, "I seen" in this instance...

All year long has a little RED "allegedly" Boat been sen trawling the area.

Consider this!! "An average caster gives 75M from the shore.

THEN WHY ARE THE BOATS COMING CLOSER TO THE SHORE!

You must decide.... pictures, descriptions.....

A little, Prawn boat STILL nets your FISH!!!!!!!!

Then what do they do with the illegally landed fish?? Me? I would sell them to the local restaurant restuarant in an area like Inveraray where the Fisheray protection and Strathclydes finest Police Force dont play the game.
