eels...not everyones fav fish,but i fancy a bash at em,so i would be grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction to find some around weston shore/solent,and which bait is best....many thanks :D

Weebster, You need to come fishing with me mate im sick of the bloody things, i posted a blog the other day about them as thats all i can catch at the moment, You should try shore road in hythe its full of em plus aome good ray bass and smoothy fishing mate plus a few other places i go

cheers danny,where abouts is shore rd m8,i know of maggie lane,calshot beach,not to good on the western side of the solent.
on a different note...do you always have to put a code in to get on this site,with others it's just name/pass word #:-S :D

I Dont fish where you are but my friend goes fishing all the time.... especially conga's!

he mostly uses:
Rag
Maybe a bit of squid (its tough and stays on the hook)
You can try some dead bait apparently that works awesome after he was telling he caught a couple of good eels on it.

hope it helps a bit but i dont know much

had two eels today, west of the HYTHE Marina on the beech part, useing Ragworm.

will give you directions if your interested, PM me

P.S thats about a mile west up southampton water from Shore RD

yep thats the direction (i will have to try and find out how to post maps on this site). also had 2 Flounder and a bass.
