monday flounder/bass

Post by nthendpompey » Wed Dec 30, 2015 10:00 am

fished buds wall Monday .arrived at 10am,hw 1ish'started off with rag on flapper rigs cast short the moving back with the flood.by around 11am we was fishing from the wall.bit of crab activity but not much interest.decided to move to second mark a bit earlier,on reeling in had a small bass hooked,
second mark was inn on the beach.idea was to fish the ebbing tide, arrived before hw.rig was a pulley with a sizw 4/0 loaded with limpet chucked just behind the first big breaker.lead broke free resulting in a whiting .then nothing until hour after high and young Charlie reeled in a nice bass around 42cm,returned to fight another day.that was the only action, packed in at 3pm.
mick.
