Hi all,

Was thinking of buying a lug pump, I suffer with back pain so diggings not really an option!

Anyone been doing this? is it worth ago?

was thinking tipner or eastern road area could be worth a go :)

I too have a damaged spine and I've seen these pumps being used on you tube it looks very easy, but what do the so called professionals diggers use, if they still use a fork it is used for a reason, maybe one should go down to a bait digging area to see if anyone using one and have a chat.

Now if it was that easy - why do worms cost so much

Pumps are really good once you get the knack of it I'd recommend starting off with a 50mm pump before trying the 20/25 mm 1s also the 50mm pumps makes it easier if it's quite stoney there's some good videos on YouTube that are quite informative give them a watch before taking the plunge the east winner on Hayling is a good place to pump lug on spring tides waders are a must though incase you get cutoff unless it's summer and you don't mind getting wet

Problem with some lug unless they are of a good size the pump blows them to bits. Thats what i found when i used to do it. Maybe i was doing it wrong :-/
