Chesil beach (Abbottsbury)

Post by Phillb » Thu Apr 09, 2015 7:06 pm

Hi guys
I fished chesil beach at Abbottsbury for plaice last Sunday. We fished the whole tide in from 12:00 to 8:00. Unfortunately I didn't catch my mate had a dab around 10ozs. We were using rag and squid bait.
It was a lovely day though

Best wishes
Phil

the plaice normally turn up when the tide slackens.hw or the lw.
but its such a nice place to fish the blank don't matter.

not necessary pete.slack waters happen when the tide run change direction.which depending on location and tide strength can be a couple of hrs either way of hw or lw.
