Mackerel/Bass Bournemouth Area

Post by Greg_Roy » Sun Jun 05, 2011 11:28 am

Hello,

Has anyone had any mackerel/bass from the Bournemouth area? Bournemouth/Southbourne beaches?, The piers and Hengistbury head?

I had a mate of mine who stocked up on 80 odd from Chesil last week but hadn't heard much of any around here?

Any info Would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

I am planning on fishing Boscombe tomorrow evening/night going to fish the tide as it comes till about 12am. Never fished Boscombe before but does anybody know what time the pier shuts if it's fishable atall or am I better off sticking to the beach?

Many Thanks,

Greg

Hello Greg, I have not heard of any Mackerel along these beaches at the moment...It is a little early.
Never personally fished Boscombe pier so I cant help there.
I got an evening trip at Hengistbury Head so I`ll let you know the outcome.
Best of luck Greg
