A good friend went to brighton today caught lots of makeral he said it went mental for 3 or 4 hrs. he also had 3 pollock between 2 to 3 lbs on float with worm. Things are looking up B-) :D :)

my son fished south parade pier a couple of weeks ago and said see saw a shoal of Mackeral, I laughed at him and told him it was far too early :) maybe he was right, you can learn a lot from your kids :D :D hopefully it will be a good summer. bring on the Bass >:D< :D :D

Two weeks ago a m8 I fish with had 2 mackeral from hayling .I didnt believe but his wife confirmed that.

we bagged up on them off portland bill last weekend, , skipper reckons they are here a month early this year ! chucked them on the barbie , lovely!

there were bass shoaling up and feeding under spp yesterday, i assume that mean there would have been some bait fish around too which means the mackie wont be far behind, expect to see some mackie, gar and a few better bass being landed around pompey soon
