Post by thejugs » Sat Mar 26, 2011 9:06 pm

Evening all, was walking with the dog today through hamble country park , and bout 2 hours before high tide , bout 10 yards out , was a shoal of about 200 bass all around the 1 1/2- 2 pound mark!!!!!! I was looking down on the water with my polaroids on clear as day! reckon summer is on its way!

Isn't it annoying that the times you see things like this is when you don't have your gear with you!

was manor farm country park, (hoemoor) for us traditionalists! had some cracking bass out of there these last few years , also good spot for mullet later in year, the odd flattie pops up too

sparsely tied clousers will work ,also gurglers on the surface for the bass.for mullet try bloodworm patterns .

I have always fancied the look of the little peir that runs out from manor farm. Is this roughly where everyone is reffering to?
