New species and new PB

HI all just back from a wind swept Milford on Sea.
A very windy but not to wedy Milford was a last minute dot com idea but thought we'd give it a go any way. bait was every thing going basically,
I used a pennel rig and a 3 hook loop rig.
Stevo my mate had a nice small eyed ray 3lb ish i had a small bass and a Spotted Ray about 4lb my first ever and sods law it came on rag not sandeel or mackeral !! just plain old rag lol I will upload the pic from my phone and add it on tomorow

well done on the pb i also had my first spotted ray at milford on sea last friday. it took half a macky fillet in close that was meant for a bass didnt put up much of a fight felt like a big lump of weed. lol

hi guys whats the weed like at milford at the mo and what end are you getting the rays. ive been fishing barton at lot and all im getting is small stuff but a lot of it.

i was fishing hordle end had no problem with weed

Had a holiday based in Milford (one of the flats in the White House) a couple of years ago but spent most of my time fishing the bank rather than Milford itself - assume you were fishing under the cliffs? It looked really good and can't remenber why I didn't give it a proper go. I'd love to catch either species of ray. Good spot of fishing!

The weed wasnt much of a problem concidering how rough it was, i was fishing just by the car park wheer the beach huts are.
