Hasler Wall

Hi all, going to fish Hasler Wall for the first time this Sunday. Any tips, advice, baits to use etc, greatly appreciated.

Any advice i can give you would be to fish very close in hope for the heavens for a bass - There are very few bass around there at the moment and very few fish. if you fish up the car park where there is a small metal railing you may get lucky for a plaice as there is a small sandy patch patch about 120yrds out.

Hazler wall is a great summer spot , you can catch several speicies from maccy to red mullet , at the moment the water is still a little cold , so great advise for the car park end for a place , but if your up the other end id go for a three hook scratcher with rag tipped with squid "or seeing as the weathers been bad , try slipper limpet or muscle" mix your baits up to see whats working ?....and a big bait at distance on another rod.
This time of year at places like the wall u need to be casting as far as you can get it out."unless your going at night then dangle a bait just infront of you and hope for a greedy bass in close ?"

Well four of us fished 1.00pm to 1.00am. (High tide in daylight and low tide in darkness). Ragworm worm, squid, and mackerel, at various distances. One Pout, one Pollack, one Bass, one Flounder all undersize and one good size Dogfish. So not brilliant for eight rods over 12 hours. But the weather was kind to us and it was great to be out for the first time this year.

Well done lads , at least you didnt blank like a lot of reports ive been reading on here.
Give it a few weeks and have another go at it and your tally of fish should be better.
