Tides have been way too big recently. I would check with local tackle shops before venturing out there. Not alot being caught at the moment in that area, apart from slugs and pout after dark. Rays and plaice have got to start sometime though!! I have fished the bank in horrendous weather before , no one else bothered, but i just had to get out- you know what i mean. I had to reel in after half an hour because of the weed and left my rig within five yards of the edge, i could clearly see my leader knot, and after an hour i pulled it in to find a double shot of keeper bass! I couldn't see the bites because of the wind clanging the rod around. So you never know........
