shocking night at eastney

went down about 7:30 first cast swivel weight clip snapped good start, then nothing till low tide about 3:30 mate got a pollock not big enough so back you go, got light about 5:30 packed up an went to the pier and caught some bait for next session 3 macceys. A small reward for 13 hours out

If anyone plans to fish at eastney you should go at low tide less weed alot less. But more bites shame they never came to anything.

Went fishing off the pier there a week or so ago..

fished for about 5 - 6 hrs and never even got as much as a nibble..

The tide was rushing through, then turned and rushed out, only thing that made my rod move all day was weed...

Really dissapointed there, when i used to fish there many moons ago, used to pull in some nice Breme and occasionally a nice 3lb+ bass...

I agree anything is better than nothing i await my first fish of 09 still lol.
