Hi mate we fished mag lane 2 weeks ago , on the beach using lead lifts , we lost no gear via snags , but the spider population up there makes it almost impossible to lob a bait at any distance , every cast we had to change hook snoods , so most of the night was spent fishing 20 yrds out for the bass , bunch of rag on a pennel head hooked , or half a maccy side and head and guts , didnt get anything over 2 lbs , but lost a few monsters ;) ,

lee.
