first ever bass

caught my first bass this morning at hayling it was 4lb. never eaten it before so i'll have to find a good recipe for it.
only caught my first 2 fish 2 weeks ago after 8 trys since i started sea fishing,haven't been since then so i'm well pleased today

Nice one mate - You will have to descale the Bass or you'll have scales in your food. Move a knife from tail to head and you will see what I mean. Hope you enjoy it!

Well done mate ! went fishing yesterday using live pout my mate caught a bass 1lb and a half also a 21b eel on live pout never seen that before i know that you can catch congers off a boat using pout but this was abit strange has anyone else seen anything like that before ??

yes it did put up a good fight my rod flew off the rod rest, just couldn't believe when it come out of the surf
