can any tell me what the fishing is like bbetween redcar and salt burn

sunderland pier easy accesable, (plenty of room) also dont need to go to far out.

cheers ray-man i will check it out this week some time give me something to do i am of to saltburn this week end hoping we are going to catch something i have been and ordered my sand eel and king rag of to the super market sometime today to get some tiger prawns and some squid
i will let you know i i get on :)

well not much luck a big fat zero i will be out this week end and most of the coming week you see not been to good health wise since last timed i posted i am now feeling a little better i will keep you all informed how i get on
this week end and the rest of next week its nice to know you lot are behind me on my quest i will get some more fish this summer

The only area quite close to you that has been fishing well mate is steetley pier,and the heugh,best of the 2 is steetley.apart from that you are going to have to venture further north i am afraid,unless you fancy a trip over to the holderness coast for spur dogs and bass

Hi Man

South Gare could be doable by wheelchair, if you got someone to get you through the tight poles at the entrance; you can then take the ramp down to the pier, so only one bit to get past.

I was there today....peeps bring up macks left right and centre...

i think i am going to try saltburn again . i have been out to day and got
my bait rag macky and sand eels i might go and buy squid and try that as well i also got some mackerel feathers to have a go with i will report how i get on when i get in it might be late

Hi mate, been a while since your last post..how you getting on?

I'm coming up to Saltburn for 3 weeks from tomorrow (Sunday).
You could also fish out of Sandsend car park over high water.

That's a good chuck and you can literally fish out of the back of a car.
