What a great Day!

Post by royboy » Wed Apr 08, 2015 4:56 pm

arrived at the beach 5am this morning, first cast i had the whiting, after that it was just skate and dogfish. i lost as many as i caught, when the tide was going to far out i decided to fish a mark nearer home to use up the last of my bait and on the second cast i got this nice cod about 4lb.

Hi Roy
It looks like you've had a cracking week or so there's some nice skate beached did you release them all or take any home?
Nice to see the cod still hanging around too.
Cheers ian

I heard that skate were supposed to be tasty but I wouldn't know where to start lol ☺. As for doggies they always go back aren't they uneatable? Still an impressive catch
Cheers ian
