Skegness

Post by Andy_G » Tue Mar 24, 2015 1:45 pm

Advice needed please, I'm in Skegness for a couple of days and was wondering where's best to be and what bait will work. I was out this morning an hour before and two after high tide on the beach just behind Butlins, beach casting about 20m out using sand eels and lugs but caught absolutley nothing, I have Wednesday and Thursday morning left before I go home so any guidance is much appreciated.

Hi mate
I've fished down that part a few times but never caught much either :( . so now when I'm at the caravan I tend to fish up at chapel point or trunch lane both are about 10 mins up the road . chapel point fish just left of the point , try to fish 4 hr up and 1hr down after that your chasing the water, cast as far as you can use frozen black lug there's usually a few flatties about. Or if you don't want to drive keep going past butlins past the pubs towards the golf course in front of the caravan site that can throw up a few fish and the odd eel but beware I've had some weaver fish there again 4hrs up 1 down. Hope this helps
Cheers ian :D
