chapel point the return

Post by smallfry » Wed Apr 23, 2014 11:37 am

the wind changed and dropped so a quick trip to the tackle shop for the usual bait squid and blacks high tide was 1am arrived on the beach at 8:30 no one in sight. scaled down rigs size one 2hook flapper and 2/0 pennel. first cast a nice sized flounder on the flapper to black. then it went dead for a couple hours then a really small flounder then at the top of the tide another flounder all to black worm. the crabs are starting to show a nice calm night i might make it out for a last trip before we go home.
cheers ian
