I hold Mick in the highest regard! I cant thank him enough for giving up so much of his own time here over the years to help moderate the forums.
Always a huge thanks to Mick.

Sorry to hear the news as he contributed a lot to this site. I know how serious his illness is. He was always a mine of information and helped a hell of a lot of newbies. I just hope that he manages to get in some more fishing time as it was his first love.
Cheers keith

i was meeting him this weekend to fish with him at filey but that will not now be the case he is so bad he will not be fishing again
Im sorry to hear the news of Manic (mick). He is in my prayers that he will pull thou this. I have known mick for a few yrs, and he has always had a wicked sense of humour, always joking about his blanks at fishing.
My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family & friends .

Just heardfrom Mick's daughter that he passed away this morning. I had several days out with him and he was always good company. Reading his facebook site it looks as if he put everthing into enjoying his last few months.
So sorry to hear this sad news. Mick was a great help to me when I first joined the Forum and both inspired and made me laugh, a man who always had time to help others.
A gentleman who will always remain in my thoughts.
