I've not fished Brid I'm affraid but have been out of Whitby a couple of times. The last trip about a month ago saw everyone take good sized fish, a mix of Cod, Ling, Pollack, Whiting, Makerel and Pouting.
I'm booked to go again on Tuesday so will post a report. I hope it's of use.

Which boat are you going out on, how long for and how far, is it the Heidi j or Rachel K or another boat, this info is important, ive been on both and might save you time and money.

PS, just noticed your in Bradford, same as me, I'm in Bierley now, at my eldest daughters. What area are you in, Ive fished the N/East coast from spurn to Sandsend, so might be able to help you if needed.

Boat trip from Whibty today was a success. All 11 on board caught Cod as well as mackeral, Whiting and a couple of Ling and Gurnards. Overall a good day was had by all.
