hi dodsa,

i'm from south shields myself and am often down on the pier or up river, but i live in cramlington now and my fave mark is blyth docks.... very accessable and as productive as anywhere (just ask mickymad). i'm also back on the road nao, so starting to explore further afiald....reports to follow.

oh and remember though, fishing is only alowed off the north pier if you are a member of a local club that has matches on there. and the attendants are a lot stricter than s'shields
