Seaton sluice.....?

firstly, is it legal to fish there??
If yes, than has anyone got any experience of it? how does it fish?
i've not heard any reports from there so never considered it before, but its probably the closest spot to me at the moment

fished up that way last year when i first took up fishing i didnt catch oot though and lost a fair bit of tackle but from what i have read it can fish well , i fished from the little bay just before st marys down the steps but watch out if your fishing by your self as the rocks at low tide sharp get cut of when the tide turns .

did a rekkie up there today, looks like a nice shot, either out onto the beach from the sluice walls, some nice surf to cast straight ito the back of, no deed to be able to chuck six mile into the blue yonder. or into the slice itself.... probs not into the marina, and the river looks good but i've 'heard (from a mate, that he was told, by a friend of a friend in the pubs brother....lol) that you need a liscence there, though i'd doubt it, being so close to the sea... anyone know for definate, or know where i can find out for definate
