if you take bass home make sure there in size that one is not if the ministry people catch you with undersize fish they will take your fishing gear and you will go to court im not beem clever just making you aware

yeah i think the keep size for bass is around 41cm not sure though

Don't worry guys, all the fish my brother and i have caught (all 3 of them lol) have all been released safely! We're in it for the thrill not the kill!

Bass legal size is 36cm, but many areas say that 41cm is the minimum but you can take them if they are between 36-41cm if you wish.

for the "oldies", lol, among us that havent gone metric 36cm=14" and 41cm=16".
if you look on the NFSA Size Limits tab on the left it tells you in cms and inches

Thanks for the concern Royboy! Until i'm 100% confident of my ability to fish and knowledge of the fish i catch (or don't catch as seems to be the trend with me at the moment), everything will be lovingly returned! I don't wanna end my fishing career before its really started lol

just goto ikea nick a load of them paper meter rulers they have and tape em to one of the legs of ya tripod, depending what tape u use they fairly robust, then all u have to do is hold the fish against the leg,i just printed my own paper meter ruler with the different fish marked along it :D

i find em usefull specialy if u fish at night etc, as it can be easy to over estimate a fishs size lol
