Just bought a new Trabbuco competition match sea rod 160 gm casting weight, must say I'm impressed, especially with a 10 year guarentee.
Cheers

Very interesting rabbi, especially as they seem to be available for quite a good price. It's about time we saw a fresh rod maker on the scene, what does it cast like?

To be quite honest I was a bit worried first time out as the tip is so thin that the tip looks more like a carp rod or a freshwater spinning rod. I used it with a 5oz weight and it was like a dream. The bit detection was out of this world even a small rockling gave it a good twitch. The only thing is that they look a bit flash but what the hell you can' have everything lol. I would seriously recommend them to anyone who takes their fishing seriously.

I can understand that rabbi having looked them up. Apparently the tip section is solid rather than tubular like many other rods so it doesn't need to be so thick. As I said the price seems very attractive, what did you pay by the way?
I don't care what a rod looks like at all, it's what it does that matters and after all it is Italian and don't they just love to look "flash".
