4 Days in Bonnie Scotland

Post by rabbi2 » Tue Jul 29, 2014 10:15 am

Spent 4 days fishing a camping at Drummore in Scotland. Cracking weather, all 3 of us caught fish. Plenty of mackerel in the deep water locations (secret).
Species caught were pollack, mackerel, flounder and plaice. All were a good size. Plenty of Cod caught at Port Patrick. A break well deserved and came back knackered but refreshed to face the hum drum of normal life.
Cheers

Sounds like a good holiday - I need one myself. Good to know there are a few fish somewhere. That must be where the southern fish go for their holiday if they manage to miss the trawls. Still, I caught a few small bream the other day, which was upcheering.

Thanks guys, Just decided to sell my Mustang GT and buy a Motor-home, save me pitching tent and all that goes with it. It will give me a chance to get out more often.
Cheers
