Hi all,
Has anybody got any experience of the Daiwa telescopic tripod? I saw one outside my local tackle dealer's and liked the look of it. It is made from triangular section aluminium (or alloy), has hard steel sharp feet, has 'glow in the dark' plastic buckets and rests and weighs 2.3kg. My current tripod is far too long and is difficult to get in/out of the car. The Daiwa tripod, being telescopic, is much shorter and easier to handle. Any feedback of experiences with the Daiwa tripod would be most welcome.
Cheers. Geoff

Good strong stable legs , but needs a way of locking the front legs to the rear leg as the chain is naff all use. Rapidly gets a bad dose of head shake from the adjustable head cup system. Makes you think you,re getting 3 times as many bites as you really are.
The Shakespeare salt seems a much better rest.
