After gutting and filleting my makerel i found a tiny white worm riggling on the chopping board.
am iright in thinking that thiswas a parasite romwithin the fish guts/stomch or could it hav been in its flesh or skin/scales?

Never seen that before. Seen plenty of fresh whitebait in the Mackie but no worms so to speak!

Have gutted many mackerel over the years and many are filled with parasites.
A vast majority can be found living within the guts... I have opened up a fair few that had loads wriggling inside.
I have even purchase Mackerel from Sainsburys that had worms on the underside of the gling film packaging.

Cheers
