Mackerel Feathers

Post by Johnn »

Hi there, I went down the tackle shop & bought some feathers, ( Hok Eye ones) however I have noticed when I had opened them, where the feather is and is connected to main line, it is real short compared to my other feathers that have a rather long feather line connection.
Is there anything wrong here? the make it 'Storm'
Thanks John

Might just be the make. But I doubt mackie etc will care about that :P They will still do the job in my opinion :D

I wash mone in Warm soapy water after each use. Stops them going rusty. Dry them with a towel. But make sure they are completly dry before putting them back in your box. Btw I wrap my feathers around a Loo Roll once I have used them. Stops them getting tangled in my box.
