General Meet & Comp Etc

We have decided to hold the meet on the N/east coast for a change so as to give the lads over their a chance to meet others without it costing too much in fuel and traveling time as the last 3 meets have been at Holyhead.

It will give everyone a chance to meet other members that would otherwise be impossible and to make new friends.

The dates for the meet are the 17th, 18th, 19th September with the venue to be decided later as we will run a poll and will chose a campsite near the venue.

You can arrive for for the whole of the weekend or just for the day

Raffles will be held + a comp of sorts plus an auction

ALL profits will go to the RNLI for that area.

Kids will be welcome although it will not be a kids comp.

If we have enough chlidren we will have pass the parcel and other things arranged for them.

Plus the Barbie and the ale flowing for those who wish to partake lol

Just to bump this post up as it is getting nearer the time I am hoping for a good attendence from our site as we will have visitors from other sites.

Venue sugestions are very slow and unless we get sugestions it will be left to manic to arrange the venue.

I know a lot of you will have other commitments but please try to attend if at all possible.

Well done Danny mate, we will have to time it so it dont clash with other meets that are taking place on that side of the coast.

Well the date for the Comp itself is definitly the 18th Sept but I will be there on the 17th 18th and 19th. More will be posted nearer the time as prizes and stewards have to be sorted out. Mick is not too well at the moment but hopefully he will be feeling better nearer the time. Times will also be posted as to starting times and finishing times of the comp.

wel the 18th is my sat to work so depending on the tide times is weather i can make it up in time i do hope i will be able to. if not ill fish the sunday

Might get there for the day, although I'd love to do the weekend we are at Helmsley in North Yorkshire for a Land Rover trial that weekend.
