Are those glow sticks any good? Ive bought small glow sticks from various places and always thought that the glow was feeble. The best ones I ever found were packs of 6 in the 99p shop, they are really bright and last a long time, but at the moment are out of stock.

To get the best out of them they need warming up before you snap them, the best way to do it is in some hot water (or tea). If they split the chemical is highly corrosive so be carefull.
I find they are good enough for a full session.

The best ones out of the box are the green and red ones, the blue ones are not that great. these are a different make to the ones i got last year so i dont know what they will be like. Yea i have been told about those six pack from the 99p shop i have been told they are very bright, but at the end of the day if they work for more than five hours then thats good enough for most fishing trips.
