Don't know if any of you saw the Raymond Blanc cooking programme on BBC2 last night, he was cooking various fish recipes. In one sequence he went out on a boat that sustainably catches Dover Sole. As they were bringing the nets in there were a couple of decent cod bought in as part of the "by catch". Nothing huge by any means but large enough to eat. Because of the ludicrous quotas set by the increasingly crazy EU these cod had to be thrown back, even though they were dead.

Made my blood boil, what a waste. The sooner we tell the EU where to stick their rules and regulations the better!

OK, rant over, thanks for listening! :D
