Ebay is great for bargains etc etc. I sell and buy on a regular basis my only advice is check there feedback before putting in a bid.

Wise words, also, try not to bid after having a few drinks, you never know what you'll end up with ! lol

The one thing that sends me up the wall with ebay is that a lot of sellers have no idea about geography.
Example blah blah for sale, free P&P United Kingdom.
Only to find out that due to their lack of knowledge, they want to charge additional postage.

I know some sellers do advise additional for IoM, IoW, Channel Isles etc, but at least they advise on the sales page, instead of sneaking up on you to rob you and claim that NI is not in the UK.

I DO DECLARE THAT WE IN NORTHERN IRELAND ARE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, SPEND STERLING AND PAY GORDON'SWAGE.

Rant over.
Back to fishin,

i still spend a small fortune on Ebay at times but as others have said i make sure what im buying is a better price than what i can get it for elsewhere,

my main problem with Ebay these days is the fact its absolutely flooded with really bad quality cheap crap from Hong Kong and China.

That being said there are still allot of bargains to be had.

My Number 1 tip for Ebay is - Never place a bid until the last 20secs
