Not been out for a while apart from a trip to St Abbs with mac47....cant get moving for this damn snow and i dont have to be at work until monday..... ~X( hope to get something to report on over the weekend.
Tight lines and i will post a report if i can get out.
I've had enough myself now woke up to between 8 and 10 inches of snow
couldn't get to work today But we've got a funeral thursday but i've had reports that some have been cancelled today.
I have been fortunate so far and have coped with the bad weather using the limited slip facility on my motor although a landrover discovery couldn't cope with same hill, possibly due to its weight.
The problem at th moment for some is actually getting to the venue and back.
take wide alloy wheels off and get some thin 'rich tea bisquit' wheels so they bite through the snow/slush. if it's icy you can let a little pressure out of the wheels.. clutch control aswell....don't stamp the pedals through the floor lol you don't need a 4x4 if you have some leaves on your driveway
not been let down yet by trusty Fiesta diesel van(apart from leaky water pump hose last week)only problem is ground clearance on lumpy frozen packed down snow-its got better traction than our Focus too.
