Fishing Lowestoft area fishing help

hello i am new to sea fishing and am about to go fishing in the lowestoft area and wondered where to go and what sort of fish shoul i try to catch any advice would be most helpful

hi tony,im a lowestoft boy myself,local marks are south pier before the light masts,after that the fish are good but the rig loss is high.tramps ally is not bad,if you pm me i'll give you my number and arange to hook up that way i can give better advice.Andy1i

Yeah, had 5lb 3oz and 3lb 2oz codlings from links road last week and a 3lb doggie from the pier (meant to post a report on here but never got round to it).

Also heard of a 7lb bass coming from tramps last Friday so the fish are well and truely about in Lowestoft

Lol,its a local fishing mark,why its called tramps alley i havent a clue,but its in corton,dip farm golf course off the A12 between lowestoft and great yarmouth,there is a nudist beach there which can be funny in the summer (just be careful of ya hooks lol,might end up with the wrong worm on it !).but it fishes really well and good deep water,stay out the middle of the bays,can be abit snaggy.i fish there quite often.Andy1i

No not at all dodgy,ive done numerous allnighters there with no problem,apart from the odd fox nicking my bait and growling at me

im going to sta at broadland sands holiday park so it does not sound far away would be nice to fish local to that
