Thanks Pete. Went to my local Lidl to see what I could get for myself but the majority of it was out of stock and when I aked an assistant whan they were getting more in I was told they weren't so just came away with my food shopping. Their loss!!

Colin mate, They do this every year around this time and you have to get on the dot to get the stuff worth having I'm afraid. Next year keep yer eyes peeled for their offers and get there first thing Monday morning like I do.

I am still reeling on the floor from the sring/summer collection,cant wait to see the autumn/winter stuff,if my heart can take it.

Telescopic cod rods,plastic multipliers wheres it going to end.

Glad when the rays come in so i wont have to read about LIDL and NETTO garbage anymore #:-S

Eccles mate I would have been there on the Monday but unfortunately I had to work from 8am until 6pm that day so would have missed it anyway.

went into lidl maidstone yesterday for the waders size 8's only!!!!!!, but came home and ordered on line my new seatbox, field boots beach buddy and tripod, so no waddign for a while :(

I did get something wortwhile and it didn't cost much - two bottles of that South African Pinotage wine, very good value.
